Join Amanda for an 6-week Tai Chi series wherein you will become competent in a beginner-friendly moving meditation that improves your sense of balance in both body and mind.

In this practice together we will perform gentle, fluid movements focused on cultivating internal energy (or qi). Both movements and breathing are slow and controlled to help us be present in the moment, bringing us back to the slowness of nature to recharge body and mind.

You will learn basic breathwork techniques incorporating Tai Chi movements both at rest and in motion, simple drills and exercises to prepare the body for motion as well as utilize in meditative practice, and a beginner friendly Tai Chi form based off of the Sun Style.

This class is excellent for individuals who want to begin a gentle movement practice or improve their balance and posture. Tai Chi is beneficial for those with osteoporosis, chronic pain-friendly, and adaptable for all levels including a seated form if needed or desired.

This class ideal for:

-People who are interested in improving their sense of balance and improve steadiness on your feet

-People dealing with osteoporosis, arthritis, or chronic pain but who still desire a movement practice that improves balance and mind body connection

-People who want to try Tai Chi for relaxation or stress reduction purposes
