Postnatal Nurturing Movement for Mamas

Thursdays 12-1 pm
January 11 – Feb 15 (6 weeks) $125
This nurturing and playful class is for mamas to connect with the joy of moving their bodies in a supportive, baby-welcoming environment.
For 6-weeks, mamas will practice a form of nourishing movement with their babies. Babies can be worn, held, nursed, fed, or placed in a car seat or stroller.
We will go with the flow and embrace all that arises in our time together.
At the end of the series, you will have experience and tools to develop your own movement practices in your daily life.
Week 1 – Gentle Yoga
Week 2 – Chair Yoga (learn practices that you can do seated and standing)
Week 3 – Dance flow (baby-wearing or holding with simple, fun, and free-form dance)
Week 4 – Functional fitness (combination of yoga, barre, and pilates)
Week 5 – Yin Yoga + Mindfulness
Week 6 – Yoga with Props + Support (such as strollers, walls, chairs, blocks, straps)
Thursdays 12-1 pm: Six Weeks January 11 - Feb 15th
Must be at minimum 10 weeks post partum to participate with clearance from medical doctor. This is a group exercise class, if concerned about pelvic floor and core strength for movement - and specifics for you and your body - please schedule a one-on-one session with Dr. Emily for a full pelvic floor assessment.
