I will be eternally grateful for her steadfast help in ending my decades long suffering of chronic pain. I’m stronger, more creative, and more alive than ever before. Thank you, Dr. Emily, for sharing your gifts with me.”

  • “It meant everything to hear from Dr. Emily that the chronic pain I've experienced wasn't just ‘in my head.'"

“She made it clear to me that I will improve, I will get better, and I did not have to accept pain as part of my daily life. I spent years feeling ashamed of myself and my body; Dr. Emily told me I was going to be okay. And for that, I will be forever grateful.”

  • "A safe beautiful space, filled with the light, energy and love we need so much more of in this world."

“What Emily has created here is so beautiful! The work she does, the amazing other teachers she has come in to share their light - shout out to Katie and Amanda - it is just amazing. The Reiki classes and work with Emily are one of the most important parts of my journey so far. And now the yoga sutras work! I am forever grateful for finding Emily and her team at EmBodied.”

  • "Dr. Emily's energy is infectious and her healing ability is like magic. "

“Emily is truly magnificent. Whether you are looking for reiki and energy work, pelvic floor therapy or you need an Arvigo Abdominal Massage, EmBodied Physical Therapy is where you should go.”

  • "Knowing Dr. Emily and her practice has helped me in more way that I can think."

“Emily is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and has helped me through various experiences. I had never experienced Reiki before going to EmBodied Physical Therapy and Emily's kindness and patience made the experience very enjoyable and has helped me through my journey. So very grateful for EmBodied Physical Therapy.”

  • "Dr. Emily is a great resource for anyone who is expecting, as she has different offerings for every step of your journey!"

“Dr. Emily is flat out awesome! I first met her when I signed up for her prenatal yoga classes, which helped me greatly during labor and delivery. After birth, I saw her for pelvic floor physical therapy and she gave me easy to follow at home exercises for strengthening. Then, I saw her for her postpartum core flow yoga classes. I recommended Dr. Emily to all of my friends who love her as well. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for any of her many services!”

  • "There's such a level of intuitive care that comes with Dr. Emily's work, getting down to the nitty-gritty of the energetic ties that play into why your body isn't releasing and getting better."

“Honestly, the best experience and then some! Dr. Emily is an absolute master in her craft. The level of skill from her trainings that she brings for anything that comes up during your care is unmatched. This was my 2nd stint with PFPT and this definitely assisted more. I can't thank her enough and I can't sing her good graces enough. It's opened up an entire part of myself that I felt I lost a long time ago. Even before pregnancy and labor. And I love all the tools that I've been able to retain to continue my care even after appts.”

  • "I am beyond grateful for finding such an amazing practitioner."

Emily made me feel so welcomed from the moment I stepped into her office! She is a genuine soul, so kind, so knowledgeable. I felt renewed immediately after my visit, I will recommend her to anyone and everyone! Looking forward to my next session

  • "Dr. Emily's services are worth every penny and then some.”

“Dr. Emily has been working with my baby providing cranial sacral therapy, and I am so glad we reached out to her. She has an amazing touch and I feel completely comfortable handing my baby over to her. She has assisted with colic, gas, and muscle tension. We see huge improvements after every appointment and she has taught us so much!”

“Dr. Emily is a world-class (or perhaps I should say other-worldly) energy worker, pelvic floor specialist and cranio sacral practitioner. I am so grateful for her care and support. She has helped me more than any other medical or energy expert and truly makes magic. She has created a beautiful space at EmBodied with wonderful offerings and engaged supportive community.”

  • "Working with Dr. Emily Bessemer has been a life-changing experience. "

“Even after my first session, I felt heard, validated, and finally in control of my pelvic health. Dr. Emily has taken the time and patience to explain everything I needed to know about the pelvic floor, where I was in pain, and steps I could do within and without the treatment room. I always feel comfortable, welcomed, and unafraid to share my feelings and thoughts with Dr. Emily.”

  • "Dr. Emily is so full of light and inspires me to treat myself kinder.”

“She is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced clinicians I know. What makes her stand out is her true passion to help others on their path to well-being.”

  • "It’s very hard to find someone who you can fully trust in knowing that they really really want you to get better and live a normal life and you find that with Dr. Emily. "

Dr. Emily is truly a lifesaver. She has helped put my mind at ease with her compassionate manor along with helping me feel physically better. I was diagnosed with vaginal cancer at the age of 22 and overtime the scar tissue became a problem from my partial vaginectomy surgery. I also developed tailbone pain and have hyper-mobility so my joints have a hard time staying in place and have had rheumatoid arthritis since a young teen. Dr. Emily has been patient and kind and also taught me so much about my body and the entire pelvic bowl. Pelvic floor physical therapy is something that I feel so strongly about and honestly feel so so lucky that Dr. Emily is my therapist.”
