Voice & Womb: Throat & Pelvic Floor Connection Workshop with Shannon Hawley and Emily Bessemer

Voice & Womb: Throat & Pelvic Floor Connection Workshop

A 2-Hour Journey of Somatic Awakening

Workshop Overview

Join us for a transformative exploration of the profound connection between your voice and your womb, your throat chakra and your pelvic floor. This intimate 2-hour workshop weaves together ancient wisdom and modern somatic awareness to unlock the sacred relationship between these two powerful energy centers.

What You'll Explore

The Throat-Pelvis Connection
Discover the fascinating anatomical and energetic relationship between your vocal cords and pelvic floor muscles. Learn how tension in one area directly affects the other, and how releasing both can unlock authentic expression and creative power.

Vocal Embodiment Practices
Through guided vocal toning, humming, and sound exploration, you'll experience how your voice resonates through your entire body, particularly through the pelvic bowl. Learn techniques to release vocal holding patterns that may be connected to pelvic tension or trauma.

Pelvic Floor Awareness
Engage in gentle, trauma-informed practices to awaken awareness in your pelvic space. Explore how breath, sound, and subtle movements can release holding patterns and restore natural pelvic floor function and vitality.

The Womb as Creative Center
Whether or not you have a physical womb, explore the womb space as the seat of creativity, intuition, and power. Learn how giving voice to this deep wisdom center can transform your relationship with self-expression and embodied authenticity.
