Postpartum Reconnect and Restore

Whether you had a vaginal or cesarean birth, this holistic, whole-body corrective exercise style program prioritizes proper breathing techniques to safely and gently reconnect, activate and engage the powerhouse of your body - the core - with an emphasis on improving diastasis recti and restoring pelvic floor health.

We will also incorporate meditation and relaxation techniques to soothe both body and mind, promoting and supporting the healing process.

We will begin our class with breath and core activation. After your core is activated and engaged, we will move on to safe and gentle strength circuits utilizing hand weights, bands and barre balls that will target your glutes, core, chest and scapular girdle to assist in lessening common postpartum discomforts.

We will end class with a stress-relieving, grounding meditation.

Be prepared to leave class feeling energized and relaxed! Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable workout clothing. Grippy socks are optional as barefoot is preferred.

*I encourage you to allow your body at least 6 weeks of rest and healing prior to engaging in this class. That said, I honor each woman’s individual judgement and decision.
