Join Amanda for an evening of gentle, fluid movements focused on cultivating internal energy (or qi). Both movements and breathing are slow and controlled to help us be present in the moment, bringing us back to the slowness of nature to recharge body and mind.
You will learn basic breathwork techniques incorporating Tai Chi movements both at rest and in motion, simple drills and exercises to prepare the body for motion as well as utilize in meditative practice, and an introduction to the beginner-friendly Tai Chi form based off of the Sun Style.
This workshop is suitable for individuals who want to begin a gentle movement practice, arthritis and chronic pain friendly, and adaptable for all levels, including a seated form if needed or desired.
