CPR, or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, is a helpful skill for families as emergency situations occur unexpectedly. In this class, you will be taught how to recognize a respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest, how to initiate an emergency response, and how to provide life-saving measures to adults, children, and infants. Choking emergencies and maneuvers are also discussed. Gain the knowledge and skills to act quickly and effectively in high-stress, emergency situations.
Meet Your Instructor:
Krista O’Dea is a NJ MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) Paramedic and National Registry Paramedic, responding to 911 emergencies in NYC and NJ since 2004. She is also a home-birth midwifery student and doula. She holds current certifications in CPR for adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
