Learn the basics of yoga in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to refresh your practice, this series is designed to provide foundational knowledge and address any questions or hesitations.
Classes will explore:
· Yoga poses and modifications
· Pranayama (breathing exercises)
· Relaxation
· Mindfulness + Meditation
Classes welcome inquiry and offer a safe space to explore the connection between the body, mind and breath. From posture alignment to using props, this series offers experience and information to help you establish a safe and accessible yoga practice.
Thursdays 10-11am
Must be at minimum 10 weeks post partum to participate with clearance from medical doctor. This is a group exercise class, if concerned about pelvic floor and core strength for movement - and specifics for you and your body - please schedule a one-on-one session with Dr. Emily for a full pelvic floor assessment.
Meet Your Instructor:
Rebecca White
Rebecca is a certified yoga instructor with 500+ hours of training and education. She has been teaching yoga and meditation for over 14 years in the Jersey Shore community. Her classes focus on the connection between the body, mind, and breath to teach students how to move with awareness to develop a dynamic and safe practice. Rebecca is also a mother and wife dedicated to holistic and mindful living. Both of her children were born at home, and her and her husband, Tyler, homeschool with an emphasis on nature-based learning and play.
