Taking Care of the Heart for Breastfeeding Moms and Moms-to-Be

Tuesday 12/16 at 6:30pm

Prenatal Education for Expecting Parents

Join Kate and Kim for a nurturing, yoga-infused, breastfeeding-informed workshop designed to support both your body and your heart.

Whether you’re pregnant and preparing to breastfeed, or currently nursing your little one, this class will leave you feeling grounded, confident, and connected.

We’ll begin by exploring breastfeeding positions that protect your body—focusing on posture, comfort, and the small adjustments that make a big difference in your feeding experience.

From there, Kate will guide you through a gentle, heart-opening yoga flow to release tension and create space in your body. We’ll close with a centering meditation and affirmations to restore confidence and reconnect you with your intuition and strength as a parent.

Breastfeeding—and parenting—can be deeply rewarding but also physically and emotionally demanding.

Kate and Kim are here to remind you that you deserve support, rest, and care too.

Come move, breathe, and learn in a space created just for you and your baby.

Meet Your Instructor:

Kate Blasi is the owner of Seaquence LLC. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Certified Special Educator, Registered Yoga Teacher, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher, Certified Lagree Instructor, and soon to be Certified DONA Doula. She has over 10 years of experience teaching and supporting neurodivergent students ages 3+. Yoga has been an integral part of her self- care practice throughout her career and she has been teaching yoga classes for 3 years now. She often incorporates her knowledge of yoga and mindfulness when helping her students build their own self- regulation practice. As a mom of a 3 year old and 6 month old, she saw firsthand how beneficial her yoga and meditation practice was for her during her pregnancy, birth experience, and postpartum stages. She wants to share this with other moms so that they can have the tools to help them throughout all stages of their motherhood journey from pregnancy through parenting. She is passionate about bridging her education and yoga worlds together to support moms and their kids using what she knows about behavior management, yoga, and mindfulness.

Kim Guccione is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), proud mother of three, and former public school educator with a passion for teaching and supporting families. Kim runs her own private lactation practice, where she combines her strengths as an educator, counselor, and mother to provide compassionate, personalized, and research-driven lactation support. Whether you're breastfeeding, pumping, combo-feeding, or still figuring out your plan, Kim meets you with zero judgment and full-hearted encouragement. She is honored to be part of your village — and looks forward to walking with you on your breastfeeding journey.
