Combat the daily demands on your body with this specialized Pilates class designed by a pelvic floor physical therapist. Whether you're dealing with "text neck" from screen time, rounded shoulders from desk work, postural changes from breastfeeding, or that familiar ache from curling up with a good beach read, this class targets the root causes of poor posture.
Through mindful movement and precise alignment cues, you'll work to both lengthen tight, overworked muscles and strengthen the deep stabilizers that support optimal posture. Each session focuses on creating balance between the front and back of your body, addressing the forward head posture and rounded shoulder patterns that have become so common in our modern lives.
Using Pilates principles of core stability and controlled movement, you'll learn to activate your deep neck flexors, strengthen your upper back, and engage your pelvic floor as part of your body's natural support system. The class emphasizes quality over quantity, helping you develop body awareness that carries into your daily activities.
Expect gentle yet effective exercises that target the thoracic spine, shoulder blade stability, and hip flexor lengthening.
You'll leave feeling taller, more balanced, and equipped with tools to maintain better posture throughout your day.
All levels welcome - modifications provided for every exercise.
Perfect for anyone spending long hours at a computer, new mothers, or anyone looking to improve their posture and reduce tension.
