Breastfeeding Basics
with Kim Guccione
Sunday 2/9 at 12pm
This class is designed to prepare mothers-to-be to nurse their newborn.
We will set realistic expectations, add breastfeeding basics to birth plans and discuss tips for breastfeeding success. As a society, our trend is to prepare for birth and "see what happens" with feeding our baby.
Although no one can prepare us for the birth of a child and each breastfeeding dyad is unique, understanding the basics of how breastfeeding works and catching a glimpse of what to expect at the beginning of nursing can set us up for a successful start and a more rewarding experience. It is ideal to take this class around 27-32 weeks of pregnancy.
Partners are welcome! Class includes access to online materials for future reference.
