Prenatal Seasonal Flow: Winter's Sacred Preparation

This deeply nurturing prenatal yoga series is designed around winter's inward-turning energy, integrating mindfulness practice, breath work, and gentle movements specifically tailored for expecting mothers.

As nature settles into its most contemplative season, mamas are encouraged to connect profoundly with their baby, create sacred space within the body and pelvis, and cultivate inner strength in preparation for birth.

This class is taught by pelvic floor physical therapist Emily Bessemer, who brings over 10 years of experience in women's health to her practice. Having worked with women of all ages and stages to connect with their pelvic floors, Emily is excited to expand her expertise to include prenatal yoga through EmBodied Physical Therapy, her private practice. Expect this series to be interactive, deeply supportive, and warmly nurturing as we move through winter's gathering darkness, creating internal warmth while honoring the precious life growing within.

Through gentle movements that embrace the season's reflective wisdom, we'll focus on building resilience and openness as daylight diminishes and nature models the art of going inward.

This practice honors winter's profound energy of gestation and deep preparation, perfect for mamas approaching their own transformative journey into motherhood.

Prenatal Yoga is an amazing complement to birth classes and comprehensive birth preparation for the pelvic floor and beyond. Through gentle movements, mindful core activation, and mobility work for the soft tissues around the hips and pelvis, this practice supports ease and readiness for birth while honoring the sacred depths of pregnancy's final preparations.
