This active class is designed to support the needs of Mothers, whether you are 10 weeks postpartum or 10 years! Toting around car seats, carrying loads of laundry and bags of groceries, and picking up kids requires a level of fitness. As kids age, the demands of motherhood continue to require physicality and stamina.
The exercises in class fuse Yoga, Pilates, and Barre to stretch and strengthen your physical body with low-impact cardio, light-weight training, and deep stretching. All exercises are DR-safe, and modifications will be offered to meet varying fitness levels. Babies (pre-crawlers) are welcome but not required to join the class.
Thursdays 11:30am-12:30pm
Must be at minimum 10 weeks post partum to participate with clearance from medical doctor. This is a group exercise class, if concerned about pelvic floor and core strength for movement - and specifics for you and your body - please schedule a one-on-one session with Dr. Emily for a full pelvic floor assessment.
