Reflections: Sacred Rituals For The New Year

led by Katie Morgan

Tuesday December 31st, 10am-12pm

The work that we have done in 2024, and way back through the archives of our personal history, has been steeped in complexity…some we perceive as beautiful, joy-filled and infused purposefully, some we perceive as dreadfully heavy, perhaps arriving despite our vehement protests.

When we spend so much of our lives feeling fused with what's occurring around us, we can miss some of the opportunities to pause, take a step back and reflect on the wisdom we have acquired.

This sacred ritual of the pause, led by Katie Morgan of The Grief Ritual, focuses on the dual work of allowing space for grief, AND in alignment with the intention to relentlessly thrive. During this sacred space between 2024 - 2025, we can return to the idea of “village rituals”.

Together, we can take gently guided, non-movement-based opportunities to:

  • Acclimate to our right-now 12/31/24 selves & create a community alter that is representative of the journey of the past 12-months

  • Allow a bit of space for ciphering wisdom from the wounds we sense and for softly tending to any emotional residue that remains

  • Foster connectedness with ourselves by practicing felt-sense, truth-telling work with guided meditation and time for independent writing/reflection; foster connectedness with another by practicing empathetic listening (the practice of listening with your heart and sending love without the return of words) to the writing/sharing from another

  • Express what arrives with an intuitive art activity and the sacred practice of kintsugi (a repairing of what was considered broken with gold)

  • Be part of creating a “village” Manifesto that is infused with the powerful energy of our Women’s Circle

Tea will be served
