A class dedicated to exploring the intuitive practice of opening portals through energy work.

Portals typically open around birth and death, and using energy work and the intentional, intuitive practice of facilitating the opening and holding space for a portal to come through, we can ease the transition of existing in these liminal spaces in time.

Portals can also useful for preparation for birth and death, grief, space, and connecting with your higher self.

This Class Is For:

  • Those interested in advancing their energy work technique to include topics of birth and death portals

  • Those who are new to the energy world but want to have further education on portals in the context of energy fields

  • Any death or birth worker looking to expand their practice to include the energetics

Dr. Emily will go over the HPC birth portal practices that are outlined in the book Wild Mothering and Wild Creative - please feel free to read more about this work and practices here.

This class is donation based, Mel + E are figuring out formatting and looking for feedback - please feel free to donate what you feel called to as an “energetic exchange” for our time but also come willing to give us feedback on the content presented.

Meet Your Instructor:

The class is taught by Melissa, who is a Reiki Master (trained by Dr. Emily), a Social Worker, with focuses in clinical practice and human rights, a Death Doula with a specialization in grief, a College Professor, Mama of Rowan and Professional Mental Health Coach.

Emily Bessemer PT, DPT, PRPC, 200ERYT, RPYT
Dr. Emily Bessemer is the owner of EmBodied Physical Therapy and a pelvic floor physical therapist with over a decade of hands on work in the pelvic bowl, energy field and movement medicine for alignment, mobility and restoration of the magic with in the body. She’s treated hundreds of women at EmBodied Physical Therapy to connect with their womb space energy, movement practices, and alignment physically + energetically to move from their most embodied space. She is a certified reiki master teacher, prenatal yoga teacher, pilates instructor and Arvigo Abdominal massage practitioner. Dr. Emily offers her longer form musings and writings on her Substack: EmBodied & Unfiltered.
