As nature pauses at the threshold between darkness and light, we too will rest in the sacred stillness of the winter solstice—honoring what has been, releasing what must fall away, and planting seeds for the returning light.

What to Expect:

This immersive experience combines the profound relaxation of Yoga Nidra with the healing vibrations of a live sound bath. You'll be guided into a state of conscious rest—that liminal space between waking and sleeping—where deep healing and transformation naturally occur.

As you lie cocooned in blankets, the guided meditation will take you on an inner journey through the darkness of winter, helping you access your own inner wisdom and recognize the gifts that only stillness can bring.

The experience is woven throughout with the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls and chimes. These healing vibrations work on a cellular level, releasing tension, balancing energy, and attuning your body to its natural state of harmony.

  • Anything else that helps you feel safe and comfortable

Dress in warm, comfortable layers. The room will be dimly lit. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

Meet Your Instructor:

Emily Bessemer PT, DPT, PRPC, 200ERYT, RPYT
Dr. Emily Bessemer is the owner of EmBodied Physical Therapy and a pelvic floor physical therapist with over a decade of hands on work in the pelvic bowl, energy field and movement medicine for alignment, mobility and restoration of the magic with in the body. She’s treated hundreds of women at EmBodied Physical Therapy to connect with their womb space energy, movement practices, and alignment physically + energetically to move from their most embodied space. She is a certified reiki master teacher, prenatal yoga teacher, pilates instructor and Arvigo Abdominal massage practitioner. Dr. Emily offers her longer form musings and writings on her Substack: EmBodied & Unfiltered.

Dr. Emily’s classes integrate her love of energy work, moon + seasonal cycles, functional strength training and manifestation work through the use of the body for alignment, empowerment and manifestation.
